The Power of Mama
The Power of Mama is the first-ever female firefighting team in Borneo.
Protecting wildlife begins with supporting the people who live alongside it. Human well-being, animal welfare, and healthy ecosystems are deeply connected, making community engagement an essential part of our conservation work.
Through our outreach and education programmes, we enable people to become guardians of the wildlife on their doorstep. By providing training, resources, and sustainable livelihood opportunities, we help communities reduce reliance on practices that threaten wildlife and instead become active partners in protecting nature for future generations.
