Wildlife Conservation
Our goal is to help endangered species survive and thrive in the wild. We rescue animals in danger, care for them and whenever possible, return them to the wild. For those that can’t go back we give lifelong sanctuary.
Our vision is a world without animal suffering, where people and wildlife live in harmony. Our mission is to take action to stop animal suffering, protect wildlife and their precious habitats, and address the root causes of cruelty and environmental destruction.
At International Animal Rescue we not only save animals from suffering, we also rehabilitate and release them back into the wild and work to protect their precious natural habitats. Our work includes cutting free and caring for captive bears in India and Armenia, rescuing and rehabilitating orangutans and other primates in Indonesia and treating injured and orphaned howler monkeys in Costa Rica.
Over 620 dancing bears were rescued from horrific pain ending a centuries old cruel tradition.
Over 300+ critically endangered orangutans rescued and, where possible, given a 2nd chance in the wild.
Every day, we patrol and protect precious habitat for Indonesia's endangered wildlife.

From lush rainforests to coastal mangroves, wild places are home to extraordinary wildlife, and they’re disappearing fast. We work hand in hand with local communities, governments and businesses to protect these landscapes for future generations.
Every year, countless wild animals are taken from their homes to be sold as pets or products. We work with authorities and communities to stop this cruel trade and make sure wild animals stay where they belong.
Over the last 30 years, we’ve been at the forefront of animal welfare and had many wonderful successes. Not at least of all helping to end a centuries old tradition of dancing bears in india.
International Animal Rescue has projects all over the world. The centres span three continents and care for hundreds of animals at any one time.
