Together, we’ve rescued over 620 bears, giving them a second chance at life. Today, over 150 sloth bears are thriving in peace across three sanctuaries in India, but we urgently need your help to continue their care.

Independent and clever, Solo was rescued by Wildlife SOS’s Anti-Poaching Unit and prefers her own company. She shares an enclosure with Sneha, but their interactions are brief and friendly. While other bears rush to the puzzle feeders, Solo studies them first, working out the quickest way to her treats, and often gets there first!
Rescued from poachers, 18-year-old Splashy has the energy of a much younger bear and a love of pool time. Give her a scent ball and she’ll toss it into the water before leaping in after it with pure glee. Whether she’s splashing in her pool or rolling in the mud, Splashy is living a happy, safe and much-loved life.
Shy but curious, Trekker loves exploring his enclosure. Forced to perform as a “dancing bear” with a rope through his muzzle, he now lives peacefully alongside his gentle companion, Suma. Calm most of the time, Trekker always gets excited about food, especially honey, coconut and jaggery!
Rescued from the cruel “dancing bear” trade at just five months old, 15-year-old Digger is now a lively, curious bear who loves sniffing, burrowing and climbing trees in the blink of an eye. He quickly cracks his feeding puzzles to reach the dates, coconut and jaggery inside, and shares his home with fellow bears Valmiki and Gambhir.
Once forced to perform as a “dancing bear”, Scamp has overcome his painful past thanks to the gentle care of our team. Now he treats every day as an adventure, digging for insects and the perfect cool spot to rest. He shares his enclosure with Digit, and the mischievous duo love tumbling, chasing and playing in the mud together.
