Littlemen Gig Raises Much-needed funds for International Animal Rescue

International Animal Rescue would like to say a huge thank you to Wiltshire-based band Littlemen, and to fellow musicians The Pinkertons and Life In Mono, for hosting a fantastic fundraising concert in support of our work.

The special one-night-only benefit event took place on Thursday, 8 January at Komedia Bath, and despite the weather, music lovers braved the elements to be together for an evening of live performances, all in aid of animals in need.

Jeanette from International Animal Rescue expresses IAR’s gratitude, “All of the musicians took part free of charge, generously donating their time and talent to support our mission. Thanks to everyone involved and everyone who attended, we are grateful for the money raise for International Animal Rescue, helping us continue our global work to protect animals from suffering.”

Littlemen, whose sound combines emotive lyrics, rich instrumentation and bold musical storytelling, also used the event to highlight a wider fundraising effort for animals. Talking about the night, Nick Allen from Littlemen said:

“Live Aid proved music can inspire people to come together and achieve an incredible impact for a good cause. Forty years on, we’re using that same spirit to highlight another urgent cause; animals who can’t speak for themselves. We hope this night raises the much-needed funds and awareness for the vital work of International Animal Rescue.”

In addition to the concert, Littlemen have also released a brand-new track in aid of the animals, ‘Animals by Littlemen’ with proceeds supporting International Animal Rescue. Supporters can listen to and download the track here:

Jeanette added, “From all of us at International Animal Rescue, we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Littlemen, The Pinkertons, Life In Mono and everyone who came along and supported the night. Your kindness is helping animals around the world get the second chance they deserve.”
