Update from our Orangutan Project - Manis finishes quarantine

8th October 2014

We are happy to report that Manis, who was rescued by IAR in July, has finished her quarantine and started baby school.

All the orangutans that arrive at our centre have to undergo a quarantine period of at least six weeks, while they have various health tests done to make sure they are free from any diseases which could spread to the other orangutans in our care.  We are delighted to report that Manis finished her quarantine time this week and took her first trip into baby school.
