New clinic and kennels in Tamil Nadu open for business

16th September 2010

Our team in TrichyThe construction of International Animal Rescue’s new dog clinic and kennels in Tamil Nadu, India has now been completed. A small housewarming party was held by the owner of the new building who is generously supporting the project, followed on 27 August by IAR’s own small launch party.

About 30 guests attended, most of them colleagues, key clients and service providers.

Unfortunately Deike Schacht, founder of the project, was unable to make it over from Germany for the event but will be visiting the new centre in Trichy in December and celebrating with the team. She said: “We are all very excited about the new centre. It looks fabulous and is going to provide the perfect clean and comfortable environment to treat and care for stray dogs in the area. We will be continuing to carry out our Animal Birth Control and Anti-Rabies programme, as well of course as treating sick and injured dogs that are in need of help.”
