We are taking part in ‘The Big Give Green Match Fund’, a fundraising event starting on Thursday, 18 April, lasting for one week.
The Big Give Green Match Fund is supported by the Environmental Funders Network (EFN) and aims to bolster funds for charities’ efforts to combat urgent environmental challenges worldwide, which is perfectly aligned to International Animal Rescue’s holistic conservation programme, IARconserves.
The Green Match Fund is a beacon of hope for organisations like IAR, dedicated to preserving ecosystems and safeguarding endangered species. Every donation made during the campaign will be matched, effectively doubling its impact on the global mission to protect and preserve our planet.
The Green Match Fund empowers environmental charities to boost their fundraising potential through The Big Give’s online fundraising platform. Public donations will unlock the ring-fenced match funding, ensuring that every contribution counts towards meaningful conservation efforts.

In 2023, the Green Match Fund raised an impressive £4.3 million, benefiting 178 environmental charities through over 22,000 donations. With the support of champions from various sectors, including high-net-worth individuals, foundations, philanthropists, and companies, the campaign aims to surpass previous milestones and drive even greater change.
