Information on Fleeing Ukraine with Pets

Body

Our hearts go out to the many thousands of people caught up in the conflict in Ukraine and having to flee from their homes to an uncertain future. Many of those seeking refuge in other countries in Europe are travelling with their pets and the European Commission has urged all Member States to allow entry to refugees travelling with pets, even if they don’t have a valid pet passport and microchip.

As well as providing emergency financial aid to support the work on the ground by our friends and colleagues at Four Paws, we have gathered below as much information as we can to assist Ukrainian refugees with the evacuation of their pets. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and remain ready to do whatever else we can to support people and animals in this time of crisis.

All funds raised in response to our appeal for Ukraine will be allocated in their entirety to the work of Four Paws in support of this most worthy cause.
