The 2004 British Birdwatching Fair

17th August 2004

2003 Birdfair posterInternational Animal Rescue will again have a stand at this year’s British Birdwatching Fair at Egleton Nature Reserve, Rutland Water.

And once again our thanks go to IAR supporters Colin Smith and his wife Susan for putting the stand together and volunteering to help us out during the three day event. IAR Development Director Carrie Colliss will also be attending the Birdfair and will be delighted to talk to visitors about IAR and our work to rescue and rehabilitate suffering wild and domestic animals around the world.

We will be distributing copies of Animal Tracks, IAR’s supporter magazine hot off the press, which contains the latest news on the sanctuary for rescued ’dancing’ bears in India, as well as updates on our efforts to combat the illegal shooting of migratory birds in Malta, and lots more besides…

Visit Marquee 1, 54/55 for the opportunity to compete for some fantastic tombola prizes or to buy a cute and cuddly teddy bear. There’s also the chance to go on a magical tour of India’s culture and wildlife with Kuoni Travel.

If you’re attending the fair, be sure to come and visit us. We’ll give you a warm and friendly welcome!
