International Animal Rescue Saving animals from suffering around the world

Please donate to help us care for animals like...

Bean the bear cub was caught from the wild by poachers in India. They killed his mother and sold him into a life of misery and abuse as a dancing bear. When we rescued him Bean was malnourished and traumatized. His muzzle had been pierced and his teeth had been knocked out.

International Animal Rescue is caring for 300 rescued bears like Bean. They live in forested sanctuaries throughout India, with trees to climb and pools to cool off in during the heat of the day. Thanks to International Animal Rescue, Bean and his friends will never know pain or fear again

Joyce the baby orangutan was snatched from the forest by hunters in Borneo. They killed her mother and sold Joyce into captivity as someone’s pet. When we rescued her she was malnourished from a diet of human food and dressed in children’s clothes.

International Animal Rescue is caring for more than 100 orangutans like Joyce. Some have spent years caged or chained up as people’s pets. At our Orangutan Conservation Center in West Borneo, the rescued orangutans learn all the skills they will need to survive in the wild. Once their rehabilitation is complete, they are released into safe, protected areas of forest and given a second chance to live as nature intended.
