International Animal Rescue Saving animals from suffering around the world

Competition - Name Our Slow Loris!

At the end of last year our International Animal Rescue (IAR) primate centre in Java, Indonesia received over 200 slow lorises who had been confiscated from illegal wildlife traders. The slow lorises had been crammed into crates and were suffering from starvation and suffocation.

This four year old male (pictured) survived his ordeal, however he doesn't have a name yet and this is where we need your help!

The Competition - Winning name is "Maurice"!

Congratulations to Carolyn Millward who suggested this name

The Friday Media Group Foundation have sponsored this slow loris and in this extra-special competition we’re giving you the chance to name him and be his exclusive adopter for 6 months! The lucky winner will receive a sponsorship certificate, photo, fact sheet and regular updates on their slow loris.
