Recently the CEO of International Animal Rescue, Alan Knight, was invited to speak at the TEDx event in Tunbridge Wells, UK. TED is a global set of conferences on Technology, Entertainment and Design. TEDx conferences are non-profit events following the TED conference format and are independently organised by a local community. Alan’s talk looked at how we can use technology to help save the rainforests. He described how groundbreaking drone technology can one day be used to track orangutans that have been released back to the wild and gather valuable data on their movements and behaviour.
